Simply Written Designs offers a variety of handmade stationery and gifts. Our unique, stylized scripts form designs for all occasions. We handcraft each design and hand-finish each of our creations. We provide custom and limited edition stationery and wall art, and specialize in crosses spelled out in scripture and poetry. All of our work is suitable for framing as a gift or a memory-evoking piece of art for your home. It is our hope that the words of our designs evoke a flood of memories for you.
In 2007 my husband Alan and I moved to our home in Florence, Alabama with our labradoodles Sipsey and Lily. Trained as an elementary educator I found the Shoals to be a teacher factory, and turned my time and talents into Simply Written Designs. I can hardly express the leap of faith it took to decide to leave my lifelong passion for teaching, but it has been more of a blessing than I could have ever imagined to share my work with people from across the southeast.
